I turned the music off and music is still playing in the background it's annoying and I want it to stop

When was the last time you tuned the sounds off and it did not stick? Does this also happen with other King games or is it just with Candy Crush Soda game?
Have you by any chance tried restarting your device and making sure it has the latest game app version installed?
