I completed Level 3500 today and now waiting for more to be added. I guess the max level differs based on the devices you use?

It does depend on your device. On my Android phone, as of yesterday (6/27/18), CC only goes up to level 3500.
On my laptop, which is operated by Windows 10, CC is up to level 3560.

I'm not sure where that question would go, but I hope that they come out this week with at least two new episodes (30 levels of play).We always lose out when they run the "Star" contest or the other ones too because we can't get the 10x bonus for rounds that we've played already.ANNOYING!!!???
